In Fall 2019, Digital Art & Design student Juan Orellana and I worked on a motion graphic design for the Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education. The project was to create a promotional motion graphic introduction for the Department that can be displayed in a wide range of medium, from online, large format flat panels to the Department’s 35-feet projection wall. To effectively achieve the concept that Juan and I developed, we experimented a variety of techniques in digital programs and explored the intriguing effects that could visually conveyed the meaning of movement, passion and diversity. As Dr. Greg Kane wrote in his email “I have showed off this new version to students, faculty and staff. They are overwhelmed with the final product. Thank you so much for this.”, we successfully accomplished this project.
