In this project the students redesigned the user interface of Eastern Mobile app. Through their own unique perspectives, the students explored various design solutions that can provide a whole new look and feel to the app. The emphasis was to develop effective visual hierarchy and consistency which can help the user experience become more attractive and compelling. Paying attention to the details, such as the design choice of icons and buttons, is another focus that students persued during this project.
Graphic Design II is required for both DA&D of Art majors and Digital Media Design Concentration of NMS students. And it’s a prerequisite course for most of the upper level Digital Art & Design courses. The course focuses on the topics of the contemporary graphic design techniques and practices. Students will continue the exploration of typographic design begun in Graphic Design I, as they begin to be concentrated on organizing two-dimensional space effectively, thinking conceptually, and combining images with typography.
