This course is designed to provide Digital Art & Media Design students a dedicated course introducing the systematic knowledge and professional practice of human-centered design. It follows a human-centered design process that includes research, concept generation, prototyping, and refinement. Through learning the key theories, concepts, methods and practices of interaction design, students will explore the processes of interface design development, the role of design leadership and the technical aspects of creating an effective interactive experience. Students will develop specific skills such as designing navigational systems, storyboarding, wire framing, digital prototyping and etc. Course Prerequisite: Art 203 Graphic Design I and Portfolio Review or Consent of Instructor.
