Web Design I serves both Digital Art & Media Design majors and minors. It concentrates on aspects of professional front-end web design technologies and processes. It is for artists and graphic designers with a focus on contemporary visual aesthetics, integrity of design and technical mastery. With the study of hand coding, students learn to design and develop web page structure, interactive elements such as navigation bar from scratch. This course lays the foundation for students’ further web design study. And the learning process helps students develop more effective visual solutions for web design, especially when collaboratively working with web programmers.
